  • Support Head of Japanese to drive distribution, visibility, and sales of  Japanese food range.
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify opportunities for promotions and trade activations to maximise brand visibility and drive sales growth.
  • Organise trade shows and chef events for exposure and penetration. Responsible for trade marketing assets production and planning.
  • Support Head of Japanese in the creation of the chef and restaurant end user journey touchpoints, content strategy and media planning, including the coordination across all agencies. Manage production of brand assets ensuring they are on brand and be the Japanese Food Service brand ambassador. Monitor and analyse KPI to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and identify areas for optimisation and improvement.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify food service trends, competitor activities, and growth opportunities, and use insights to inform marketing strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Support project management of innovation projects for NPD/ EPD and lead smaller projects e.g. packaging changeovers. This includes managing of internal key stakeholders, key project meetings and ensuring progression of the project through the stage gate process.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, market trends, and regulatory requirements relevant to the food FMCG sector in the UK and Europe, and proactively share insights and recommendations with the team.
  • Responsible for raising and receipting POs and supporting with budget management.
  • Responsible for general administration and updating of systems
  • Organise the ordering of product samples & keep samples readily available.
  • Take the lead on ad hoc internal request (e.g. launches, internal comms etc)

Skills & Qualification:
  • Prior experience in the FMCG industry or in other food companies/environment, in B2B or B2C
  • Project management experience
  • Basic knowledge of executional marketing levers (e.g. price, promo, place, product)
  • Strong attention to detail, good verbal & written communication skills
  • Passionate about food, some knowledge of Japanese or Asian cuisine/cooking preferred
