Japanese Speaking PMO / Business Analyst

Position: Business Analyst (PMO+)

Project: SWIFT ISO (MX Compliance)

Location: United Kingdom (Hybrid, UK Residency Required)

Employment Type: Full-time, locally hired employee

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead Project Management Office (PMO) and business analysis tasks
• Hands-on involvement in cross-border fund and securities settlements (SWIFT) for a major bank, including operational planning and IT project execution

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in both English and Japanese (mandatory)
• 7-8 years of experience as a Senior Consultant in corporate banking or IT consulting
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SWIFT messages (particularly MT103, MT202, MT210, MT900, MT910, MT940, MT950)
• Experience in user-side PMO roles in IT projects (project facilitation, test planning, training initiatives)
• Proven experience in business process modeling
• Corporate banking consulting experience, especially in cross-border payments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct meetings in both Japanese and English
• Perform business analysis and PMO activities in IT projects
• Documentation of project deliverables (PowerPoint presentations, reports)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in implementing SWIFT-related systems
