Maintenance Engineer

 

 

Job profile

 

A Japanese Global manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer, who will install, repair, maintain, and relocate company’s products & machinery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and take corrective actions to prevent breakdowns.
  • Install, adjust, and calibrate new machinery and equipment according to specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair logs, inspection reports, and parts inventory.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during all maintenance activities.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance staff and train operators on proper equipment use.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform necessary repairs promptly.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

  • Fluent Italian & English, Japanese skills are advantageous.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation equipment.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in an industrial environment.
  • Valid Driving License
